Taneka started pole dancing in 2012.  She was initially looking for a fun, different, and challenging workout; what she found was so much more than pole.  She found the beauty of flow, the strength of her own inherently feminine movement, and, most importantly, a group of women that embraced her, challenged her, and accepted her without judgment.  Over the course of her pole and movement journey, she has had 3 surgeries and was pregnant with twins.  While recovering from those events and fighting to regaining her strength, Taneka was challenged to find new ways to express herself using the floor -- learning Liquid Motion opened up the door to an incredible new vocabulary of movement; it was just what she needed.  Through teaching, Taneka hopes to open that door to others.
